What may appear to be a typical Building Schools for the Future project at first glance gains a whole new perspective on closer examination. This extension to Huntington school in York was a collaborative effort between the local education authority, main contractors and Sapa Building Systems which resulted in the specification of 100% recycled aluminium for the window systems. The benefit of having an extrusion company within the group means that Sapa can control the supply chain and provide specifiers with evidence to demonstrate the provenance of recycled extrusions.
