PRESS RELEASE
A range of innovative product ranges have been showcased at this year’s Building Schools Exhibition and Conference by Sapa Building Systems, leaders in the design of fenestration in the education sector.
With decades of experience in designing fenestration systems for school buildings, Sapa continue to make significant contributions to efficient operation, improving the learning environment, in line with the Building Schools for the Future vision.
Top of the bill at the Sapa stand was the Building Integrated Photo Voltaic (BIPV) systems which provide the architect with exciting new possibilities to incorporate solar technology into buildings. The systems allow specifiers to deliver energy-efficient, innovative tailor-made solutions and PV modules can be incorporated into the building vertically, horizontally or at an angle.
In addition, Sapa were showing their solar shading products and the use of recycled aluminium.
Current prestigious projects for Sapa in the educational sector include providing the answer to the specialised fenestration requirements of the UK’s first Jewish cross communal secondary school in London, JCoSS, where glazing is a major feature of the design.
